Weekly Bumpdate > 35 Weeks

On to week 35… Time is flying!

How far along? 35 weeks

Baby Size: About the size of a canary melon; 19-22in, 5.5.lbs

Total weight gain/loss: 36lbs (It’s looking like 2 lbs a week as we get towards the end! Yikes!)

Stretch marks? No

Symptoms: Light heartburn has finally kicked in.  I am exhausted after doing 1 thing off of my to-do list.  Oh, and constantly hungry!  I was not this hungry for most of my pregnancy…

Sleep: Waking up once or twice a night – very difficult to get out of bed now.  I basically have to use my leg to pull me to the edge then roll off. Haha!  Weird dreams too — plenty about labor or just things I want to do the next day.  Not as ridiculous as second trimester dreams which were beyond weird.

Best moment this week:  Meeting my cousin’s baby boy Miles.  He is 2 weeks old and so very precious!  This is my cousin’s second child, so I got some great tips for caring and feeding my future little one.  So thankful to have her nearby!

Worst moment of the week:  It’s not really the worst, but I can’t think of anything more frustrating than the pelvic pains.  I want to get things done, but it’s getting done so much slower than I’m used to because my body just get exhausted so quickly.  Yes, I’m constantly telling myself to take it easy, but there are things that need to get done! Haha

Miss Anything? Le sigh.

Movement:  He likes to STREEETCH!  He still hiccups at least once a day too.

Food cravings:  My healthy kick came back.  I don’t crave the processed sugar goods as much but instead itch for oranges, grapes, and whatever other good fruits there are!  Vietnamese food has also been so soothing.

Anything making you queasy or sick:  No — thank goodness.

Labor Signs: Not that I’m aware of!

Belly Button in or out? In-betweenie

Wedding rings on or off?  On

Mood:  Relieved.  Officially on maternity leave, so I get to run the days at my own pace now and get things situated at home.

Looking forward to:  December 🙂
