PSA: Vote Because It Matters

Hello, fellow Americans!

We got about 2 days left before it’s time to vote.  This post is more for the Californians because in case you haven’t started your research on the state propositions that you can vote for, this site is pretty great:

I know some of you are over the whole Clinton/Trump debate (let’s face it, a lot of us are), but the props are incredibly important too. They’re won entirely by popular vote, so if you don’t think your vote counts for the presidency (particularly here in California), know that your vote definitely counts when it comes to the props.

I’m no expert when it comes to all of this political stuff, but I do know that my perspective on voting has definitely changed since becoming a parent. This is my chance to help shape the environment my son grows up in. So, I’m not going to sit here and just tell you to vote because you can. Vote because it matters to you, vote because it matters to your future, vote because it matters for your kids.

That’s all. I don’t like to post on weekends, but this is important to me.  If even only one other person gets educated on these propositions and feel empowered enough to cast their vote on what matters to them, it makes a weekend post completely worth it.
