Ah, the engagement period…
I’ve known Michelle for about 10 years now. We pledged together for a sorority back when I was a freshman in college, and we’ve been friends ever since. It’s crazy to think how much time has flown! The first time I met Ray was actually at Tristan’s and my engagement party; we knew there was something special going on between these two from the get-go. Next thing you know, they’re engaged and ready to start the greatest journey of their lives!
Weeks ago, Michelle asked if I could take their engagement photos, and I was more than happy to say “yes!” I dabble in photography and probably don’t invest enough time or money in it, but it’s always a great overall experience every time I get to do these shoots. Maybe one day I’ll dive a little deeper, but right now it’ll live on as my little side-hobby considering I have so many other things going on. I always have so much fun, and I hope they had fun too 🙂 We went to San Diego, her hometown, for the shoot where we went to Tea Station, Windansea Beach, and Balboa Park.
The last time I did a session was for my cousin’s maternity shoot, and — to give you an idea of how much I “dabble” — her baby girl just turned 2 this summer. It’s been a while. I was worried I’d be a little too out of my realm after such a hiatus, but I’m pretty happy with how this session turned out!
Anyway, just wanted to share some of my favorite shots. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! (Side note: thank goodness the weather has cooled some)
