Happy Holidays & The Best of 2017

Happy holidays, friends 🙂

This year has been my first full year of deciding to be more dedicated to my blog – to give it more purpose beyond being my online diary and finding the direction that I really want to take it.  To those of who you visit regularly, to those of you who have shared it with others, and to those of you who have helped me grow in this little corner of the internet, I thank you and appreciate you so much.  It’s been scary opening myself up here at times, but it’s been so worth it.

The year in general has provided a lot of ups and downs where I felt challenged in more ways than I can think of, and – as cliche as it may sound – it has made me a better person and has given me more reason to put more purpose in this blog, or – as I like to call it – my passion project.  I have some great plans for next year, and I’m so excited to start sharing more of it.  You’ll be seeing more conscious topics, more wellness, and more ways we can all be a little more green all wrapped up in our family adventures (as we grow +1 too!).  It’s more of a direction I want our family’s lives to go, so I hope you’ll follow along and maybe even learn something new.

Last year, I decided not to do anything blog related towards the end the year and simply do a recap of some of my favorite posts.  I’m definitely going to make this a tradition so I can be sure to soak up the last few days of the year with loved ones.  I hope you enjoy reading some of these, and if you want, you can catch me on my other media channels.  Feel free to follow along and send me a “hello!” 🙂
