Ever since we were expecting Dominic, we’ve been sending out holiday cards to friends and family. I would take the usual route by finding who had the best deals, then order from there. However, lately, I’ve been trying to live more consciously by trying to spend my dollars supporting companies that help to contribute to the bigger picture to make a difference.
When it came time to think about holiday cards, Paper Culture showed up on my feed, and after a curious click to their website I knew I had to go with them. It was the first time I had heard of their company, and, as I browsed around, 3 things stuck out to me:
- All of their paper products use 100% post-consumer waste or alternatives. This means no trees are ever cut down in order to produce their goods.
- For every order, they plant a tree where reforestation is needed (at least 550,000 new trees planted so far!).
- They’re a Certified California Green Business which tells me they aim to reduce pollution, conserve resources, and overall care about sustainability.
Paper Culture cards are the kind of cards that give back beyond the joy of holiday cheer.
I mentioned earlier that I would often look for a great deal for cards, and if you’re the same, you’re in luck. They have a 50% off sale on their products right now until December 7, but if you happen to miss the deadline, use the code WELCOME for a little extension until December 12. Trust me, it’s worth it. The cards we’ve received are beautiful and high-quality, and I had a lot of fun going through all of their cute designs.
For the tree they plant with your order, you also get the joy of dedicating your tree to someone special as well – Tristan and I decided to dedicate ours to Dominic this year.
I’d say he deserves it considering how helpful he’s been all year 🙂 Already stuffing envelopes like a pro!
