Yesterday afternoon, my coworkers and I went to visit another coworker at the hospital. She’s doing well and in great spirits. She had recently gotten into a car accident which has basically rendered her immobile for some time. We all chatted and had a few laughs, and sometimes that really is the best medicine — to care for each other and laugh together when times are trying. I pray for a steady and remarkable recovery for her. We know it’ll take some time, but with patience and determination, we know she will be up on her feet before we can say “fiscal year end.” If anything, we are so thankful she is alive and well — laughing her infectious laughter and sharing her awesome jokes. There is always something to be thankful for no matter what the situation. Always take a moment to count your blessings.
